Agnes M. (Kieran) Raftery, 95, of Bridgewater passed away on January 7, 2026.

Agnes was born on April 23, 1930. Daughter to the late Edward and Annie (Shea) Kieran. Agnes was raised in Whitman and graduated from Whitman High. Agnes worked various jobs, including, Toll House, Whitman Shank Shop, and retired after working several local retail stores.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband John J. Raftery, as well as her brother Edward Kieran.

Agnes is survived by her children; John Raftery and his wife Allison of Plymouth, Maureen O’Brien and her husband of Bruce of Whitman, and Pamela Kirby and her husband James of Whitman. She was the sister to Robert Kieran, Francis Kieran, and Elizabeth Goss. Agnes was a grandmother to eight grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend Agnes’s visiting hours on Sunday, January 18 th from 12:00-3:00 PM with a 3:00 PM funeral service to follow at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman.
