Obituary

Alan L. Davis, 71, of Halifax, formerly of Whitman, passed away Wednesday October 17th in the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth after a very brief illness.

He was born in Brockton, son of the late Leonard and Gladys (Blakemen) Davis. Alan was a graduate of Whitman-Hanson High School.

Alan worked for the Gillette Corp as Machine Operator for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, going to shooting ranges and animals.

His is survived by his son Alan Davis, Jr, his daughter Diana Casavant and his two grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late John Davis.

His Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 23rd at 12:00PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman. Visitation will be prior to his service from 10:00AM -12:00PM.Burial will follow in the Colebrook Cemetery.
