Obituary

Alice E. Ord, 58, of Whitman passed away on August 11th at home suddenly. She was the daughter of the late Rodney M. and Alice M. (Donnelly) Ord.

Alice was born in Quincy, raised in Abington and has been a Whitman resident for many years. She was employed at BJ's Wholesale Club in Weymouth and previously she worked in food services in the Brockton Hospital for many years.

She is survived by her beloved son Rodney L. Ord, whom she was immensely proud of and loved with every fiber of her being. She was the sister of Rodney M. Ord and his wife Paula of Marshfield, James Ord and his wife Janice of Middleboro, Maureen Perkins and her partner Daniel Salvucci of Halifax and Robert Ord and his wife Donna of Halifax; also several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral services will be held on Thursday August 18th at 10:00AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman. Burial will follow in the St Patrick Cemetery, Rockland. Visitation will be on Wednesday August 17th from 5:00-8:00PM
