Obituary

Anna Winning Cookson, 96 of Plaistow, NH died peacefully on October 7.

Born in Roxbury, MA in 1924, one of thirteen children of Mary and Frederick Rose, she was the last surviving member of this wonderful family.

Anna was the wife of the late Robert Cookson and the late Edward Winning. She was a loving mother of five children: Elaine Comeau of Sarasota, FL, Peg and her husband Dick Ferris of Bridgewater, MA, Ed and his wife Maureen Winning of Georgetown, MA, Mary E Winning of Richmond, VA and Charles and his wife Beth Winning of Townsend, MA. She will also be missed by eleven grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday October 16 from 10:00-11:00 AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman, MA. All other services will be private.
