Obituary

Brenda M. Vaughan, 39, died at her home in Whitman, unexpectedly, Thursday, March 9th. She was the daughter of the late Robert F. and Barbara J. (Hurley) Vaughan.

Born and raised in Dorchester, a graduate of St. Gregory High School in Dorchester and the Catherine Gibbs School of Boston.

Brenda worked as an Administrative Assistant for Comcast Cable Company in Norwell, and also for the H&R Block in Pembroke. She had been a resident of Whitman for nine years.

She is survived by her sister, Karen Mitrano, her uncle and aunts, Ronald Vaughan of Waltham, Patricia Mitchell of Rockland and Gayle Pino of Revere, her niece Marissa Vaughan of Quincy, also many cousins, friends and the family's pet dog Tasha.


Funeral for Brenda as well as her father Robert F. will be held from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street, (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman, Tuesday March 13th at 9:15 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass in Holy Ghost Church at 10:00 A.M. Burials will be at a later date. Visiting hours for Brenda as well as her father Robert F. Vaughn will be held Monday March 12th 4-8. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G.
