Obituary

Carole L. (Gumbert) Lane, 89, of East Bridgewater, MA, passed away on September 30th, after a short illness.

She was born in Waltham, MA. She was the daughter of Margaret and Charles Gumbert, sister of predeceased Beverly Brown, Charles Gumbert and Richard Gumbert. She was married to the late Henry Lane.

She leaves behind sons Calvin and Brian Lane of East Bridgewater and daughter Colleen Richards and her spouse Frank Ciavaltone Sr of Walpole, MA. She was the grandmother of Heather McNeil and predeceased Amy Lane, Renee Lane, Ian Richards, and Taylor Richards. Great grandmother to Emilia and Isla McNeil and Aayden Ferrer. She was mother-in-law to Kim and Cynthia Lane.

She enjoyed gardening, horses, motorcycles, and her beloved bulldog "Lilly." She worked with handicapped and mentally challenged patients.

A private family service will be held at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. She will be next to her beloved "Harry."
