Obituary

Whitman – Carole J. (Jameson) Barr 65 died unexpectedly Thursday September 9 in Tufts Medical Center, Boston. She was the beloved wife for 33 years to Lawrence M. "Mike" Barr.

Born and raised in Boston she was the daughter of the late Albert and Doris (Glavin) Jameson.

Carole had been an active member of the Whitman community for 25 years, and had worked as a mortgage broker at area banks.

She spent many hours outdoors in her gardens and enjoyed cooking.

In addition to her husband Mike she is survived by her loving daughter Vicki Barr of Cambridge and her brother Edward Jameson.

Her services will be held Tuesday September 14 at 6 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman. Visiting hours will be held one hour prior to the service from 5-6 PM. Donations in her name made to New England Organ Bank, 60 First Ave Waltham, MA 02451
