Obituary

Catherine (Austin) McGuane, 63, of Whitman died unexpectedly, Tuesday June 10th at her home. She was born in Brockton and grew up in Rockland, a graduate of Rockland High School. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Ellen (Burns) Austin. Catherine has been a resident of Whitman since 1964.She worked as a Home Health Aide for 20 years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, games, trivia, movies and reading.
She is survived by her brothers, Gerald Austin of Whitman, David Austin, Sr. and Paul Austin both of Brockton, her sisters Angela Currey of Brockton and Ellen Linn of Bridgewater.
Her services will be held on Saturday June 14th at 10:00Am in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman, burial will follow in the Colebrook Cemetery, Whitman .Calling hours have been omitted by request of the family.
