Obituary

Carver – Charles Pagnini 91 of Carver, a retired Chief Petty Officer, U.S. Navy, died February 26, 2014. He was the beloved husband of the late Kaye (Nicotera) Pagnini.

Born and educated in Everett he was the son of the late Severino and Rina (Sartini) Pagnini.

He had been a resident of Whitman for 27 years, and the past 26 years in Carver.

He served in the U.S. Navy for 30 years and was an active member of the Top Three Association, the VFW Post 697, the American Legion Post 40 and the Disabled American Veterans Association.

After his retirement from the U.S. Navy he was employed by the Town of Whitman Public Schools as a custodian.

Charles was the father of six sons Charles, David, Michael and the late Robert, Richard and John; two daughters Tonia and Kathryn; 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

His funeral mass will be held Tuesday March 4 at 11 AM in the Holy Ghost Church, 518 Washington Street, Whitman. Burial will follow in the St. James Cemetery, Whitman. By request of the family visiting hours will be private.
