Obituary


Chester A. Clark , 90, July 10th at the Caritas Good Samaritan medical Center ,after a period of failing health, he was the husband of the late Mildred(Grossman) Clark.

Born and brought up Whitman

A resident of Whitman all his life, he worked as a machinist for the E. Norris Brown Company

Chester was a WWII veteran in the United States Army during the pacific Theater, he was in 726th Amphibian Tractor Battalion.

He was an avid Red Sox fan.

He is survived by his children Alan Clark of Abington, Jean Smith of Halifax and Linda Fitzgibbon of Wrentham and the late Brian Clark ;his grandchildren ,Evan, Ethan and Laura Medeiros and Jayme Fitzgibbon. He was also the brother of the late Frederick, William, Dorothy Clark, Grace Sullivan and Florence Palm.


Funeral services will be held Saturday July 14th at 10:00 AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Colebrook Cemetery Whitman, MA. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service 9:00-10:00 AM.
