Claire E. (Bellew) Snow, RN, age 98, passed away on July 20, 2026 in Duxbury, MA at Baypath Nursing Home. 

She was the daughter of James and Eva (Carroll) Bellew of Mansfield, MA. Ms. Snow was married to the late Donald K. Snow for 68 years. She was a member of the Class of 1949, Brockton Hospital School of Nursing, and considered herself a nurse for 77 years until her death.

Claire worked at a number of hospitals, including Brockton Hospital, serving in various roles, including Night Supervisor, and in the Operating Room and Emergency Room. She also worked in the offices of a number of prominent area surgeons. Her dedication to nursing was an inspiration to the many wonderful nurses and staff who cared for her in her later years.

Claire enjoyed trips to Old Silver Beach in Falmouth with hers sons, and family excursions to the White Mountains. To celebrate their 50th anniversary Claire and Donald traveled to Europe and toured the major capitals. Claire loved the outdoors and tending to her flowers. She was always happy to have a rake in her hands. In the kitchen pie making was her specialty. And her pets were a joy.

Claire is survived by her son Jim and his wife Lea of Pembroke, Bill and his wife Tammy of Steep Falls, ME, Alan and his wife Donna of Raynham, and Jack and his wife Rui of Rockland. She is also survived by 12 much loved grandchildren, and 16 much loved great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her sister Regina (Bellew) Chippola, and brothers James Bellew and Francis Bellew.
