Obituary

Daniel W. Powers, 49, of East Bridgewater, died suddenly, on Thursday October 28th in the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. He was the husband of Diane (Disbrow) Powers.

Danny was born in Boston, son of Eleanor (Murphy) Powers of Maine and the late Thomas Powers.
He was a former self employed truck driver. Danny was also a soccer, basketball, and softball coach in the Town of East Bridgewater,

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his two daughters, Courtney and Caitlin of East Bridgewater, his brothers, Thomas Powers of Maine, Derek Powers of East Bridgewater and his sister, Catherine Pope of Maine: also many nieces and nephews.

His services will be held on Wednesday November 3rd at 8:00AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman, followed by a funeral mass at 9:00AM in the St. John's Church, East Bridgewater. Interment will be in the Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree, MA. His visiting hours will be on Tuesday November 2nd from 4:00-8:00PM.
