Danielle M. Kailher, 36, of Boston, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 12, 2026.

Danielle was born on June 30, 1989, in Holbrook. She was a graduate of Whitman-Hanson Regional High School, Class of 2008, and later attended Massasoit Community College for two years.

Danielle was self employed as a dog walker and was an avid animal lover, especially when it came to dogs. She found her greatest joy outdoors and truly felt at peace in nature. She loved camping, traveling, going for bike rides, and working outside whenever she could. The water was one of her happy places whether she was swimming, boating, or simply lying on the beach soaking up the sun. Danielle also enjoyed fishing with her dad, going on hikes, and spending time in Maine. She loved sports, including basketball, softball, and soccer, and was known for her competitive spirit. Above all, Danielle loved to have fun and will be remembered as a kind and loving person who embraced life with energy and joy.

She was the beloved daughter of Brian Kailher of Whitman and the late Renee (Smith) Travers of Hanson, and the cherished stepdaughter of Michael Travers of Hanson and Karan Lydon of Whitman. Danielle is survived by her sisters, Nicole Kailher and her partner, Lem Marasigan, of Raynham; Courtney Kailher and her partner, Joshua Donohoe, of Whitman; and Holly Kailher of Attleboro. She was the cherished granddaughter of Linda Kailher and the late Frank Kailher of Whitman, and the late Paul and Judith Smith of Hanover. She was the loving aunt of Ellie Marasigan of Raynham. Danielle was also the beloved niece of Dawn and Jim Mosseso of Lakeville; Randy and Collette Smith of Whitman; Paul Smith and his fiancée, Heather; Regina and Shawn Evans of Martha’s Vineyard; and is also survived by many loving cousins.

Family and friends are invited to attend Danielle's visiting hours from 4:00-7:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 20th at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman.
