Obituary

David Scott Filosi, 39, died Friday June 15th in the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston after complications due from Cystic Fibrosis. He was the husband of nine years to Lynn (Bassett) of Whitman.

Born in Brockton, bought up in Abington, he was the son of Philip and Margaret (Cantoni) Filosi of Abington. He was a graduate of Abington High class of 1986.

He worked for the Brockton Hospital for 22 years and most recently as a CSR technician.

David loved yard work and being with family and friends

He is survived by his wife Lynn (Bassett) Filosi of Whitman; his parents Philip and Margaret (Cantoni) Filosi of Abington; his father and mother in law, Michael and Diane Basset of Brockton; a brother Philip M. Filosi of Germany; a sister Tina Ingles of Brockton; his brother and sister in law David Audette and his wife Laurie of RI. Also survived by 3 nieces and 2 nephews, John Ingles, Shawn and Megan Filosi, Anya Filosi and Noelle Audette; and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 20th at 11:00 A. M. in the All Saints Church, Park Ave, Whitman. Burial will be at a later date. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday June 19th 3-8 P. M. in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman, MA.
