Obituary

David B. Pierce, 86, of Whitman, died unexpectedly on Wednesday August 18, 2021, husband of the late Mary (Walsh) Pierce.

He was the son of the late Burton and Mary Louise (Hines) Pierce.

David is survived by his son David R. Pierce and his wife Debra, grandson David P. Pierce and his wife Kerry and grandson Jacob Pierce, his daughter Jennifer Pierce-Gauley and her husband Thomas Gauley.

He is the brother of the later Harold Pierce, Rita Forbes, Mary Ann Pierce, Joh Pierce, Nan Dionne, Lawrence Pierce, Mary Judith Douglas. He is survived by his youngest brother Jerry Pierce, of Avon, many nieces and nephews,

David was an avid sports fan, his favorites were, hockey, golf, football and baseball.

Family and friends are welcome to attend his visitation on Friday August 27th from 9:00AM -10:00AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30AM in the Holy Ghost Church, Whitman. Interment will be in the St. James Cemetery, Whitman.
