Obituary

Whitman – David G. Trevains 54 died Tuesday August 3 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the beloved son of George S. and Shirley M. (Hopkins) Trevains.

Born in Quincy and raised in Whitman where he remained a life long resident he was a graduate of Whitman Hanson High, Class of 1974.

David had worked for Armstrong World Industries for 17 years and most recently drove truck for several local companies.

He loved baseball and was a talented golfer.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his sons whom he adored David Trevains Jr. and Benjamin Trevains both of S. Boston, his brother Kerry Trevains and his wife Debra, and his sister Lynn Montagano and her husband Myles all of Whitman. He was the former husband of Margaret Foley and Joan Annand.

By request of the family all services will be private. Donations in his name may be made to the charity of one's choice.
