IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Debra F.
Nutt
May 30, 1956 – December 25, 2025
Debra F. (Damon) Nutt, 69, of East Bridgewater, Massachusetts passed away on December 25, 2025, after following a long courageous battle with illnesses. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth.
She is survived by her husband Richard Nutt, her brother Wes Damon and his wife Dawn, her sister Susan and her husband Billy Myrick, her loving children; Michael, Joshua, Justin, and late Jason O'Kelly. Her niece Missy and daughters Skyla and Sophia Damon, her nephews Kevin Myrick, and Johnathan Flaherty; and the apple of her eye, her granddaughter Autumn Skye O'Kelly, whom Autumn always referred to her as Mema.
Debbie was a graduate of East Bridgewater High School, Class of 1974. Debbie had many careers throughout her life; however, she was always led through her caring and compassionate nature. She dedicated a significant part of her career as a CNA at Harbor House in Hingham, where her friendly demeanor and work ethic shined brightly. Her capacity for compassion was evident in her willingness to lend a hand to those in need while reflecting her generous spirit. Debbie also spent many years as a skilled painter working alongside her son, Joshua.
Debbie's most recent occupation was a bus monitor for Lucini's bus line in Bridgewater, where she enjoyed spending time with children and safely transferring them to and from school.
Debbie's greatest passion was in her kitchen. Her cooking brought together so many loving meals and memories with her family and friends. She also enjoyed camping, the beach, gardening, bird watching, and spending time with her family, friends, and beloved pets. Her family was everything to her, especially her granddaughter Autumn (her Lady Jane).
Many were touched by Debbie's kindness, motherly love, and infectious laugh. Everyone loved spending time with "Ma" who always welcomed others with open arms.
Debbie is now in the loving arms of her guardian angels, her son Jason, father Wesley, and both her mothers; Gladys Winifred (Brown) Damon, and Elaine Damon.
If you happen to spot a Cardinal, remember that it serves as a gentle reminder that Debbie is always with us. It's never goodbye; it's simply I'll see you later.
