Obituary

Whitman – Denise A. (McGuire) Norton 72, died Saturday February 4 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was the beloved wife of Samuel O. Norton.

Denise grew up in Brockton, daughter of the late Frederick and Bronnie McGuire, and graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School. She enjoyed a long career in Nursing as an OR Nurse at the Goddard Hospital and then several Nursing Homes on the South Shore.

In addition to her husband Samuel, Denise is survived by her son, Daniel A. Norton and his wife Kerri of Whitman, and her 3 grandchildren, Avarie, Conner, and Logan Norton.

Her memorial service will be held Tuesday February 14 at 7:00 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 5:00-7:00 PM. Burial will take place on Wednesday February 15 at 10:00 AM in the Colebrook Cemetery, Whitman.
