Obituary

East Bridgewater - Dennis Anthony Paiva, Jr. 42, of East Bridgewater died Sunday December 18, 2011 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth.

Born in Brockton on February 1, 1969, he was the beloved son of Dennis A. and Sandra (Murray) Paiva of East Bridgewater.

Dennis had graduated with Honors from Cardinal Spellman High School, Class of 1987 and continued his education, earning his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Massachusetts. He had worked as a Financial Planner and Life Insurance Instructor with Citigroup / Primerica Financial Services.

Dennis was an avid Patriots fan, who enjoyed hosting his many superbowl parties. He enjoyed cooking, listening to music of all types, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a friend to all, and always willing to lend a helping hand.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancée Elaine M. Venezia of Braintree, his cherished brother Shawn Paiva and his wife Lisa, his niece whom he adored Cassandra all of West Bridgewater, his aunts and uncles Rose Anne and Paul Mondeau, and Rosemary and Gary Saccocia all of East Bridgewater as well as several cousins and many close friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend his memorial service to be held Friday December 30 at 6:30 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel (Rt. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 4:30-6:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers donations in his name may be made to the American Heart Association, Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241 or to the charity of one's choice.
