Obituary

Donald E. "Don" Rollins, 77, of Whitman , died Sunday May 3rd in the Tufts Medical Center , after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Virginia (Richards) Rollins and son of the late Elliot and Pearl (Langman) (Rollins) Mills. Don was born in Boston and has been a resident of Whitman for many years. He also served his country during the Korean conflict. He was a painter at the Fore River shipyard.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Steven Rollins of Randolph, Linda Parent of Halifax, Michael Rollins of Whitman and Randy Rollins of East Bridgewater, his brother, William Rollins of Worcester, his sister Shirley Gonyea of Vermont ;also 6 grandchildren.
His services will be held on Thursday May 7th at 11:00 AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman. Interment will follow in the Colebrook Cemetery, Whitman. Visitation will be on Wednesday May 6th form 4:00-8:00.
