Middleboro – Donald E. Plausse 64 passed away unexpectedly on Friday November 9.
Donald was a Vietnam Veteran having served overseas in the US Army as a Military Policeman and Dog Handler. For his service he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Army Commendation Medal.
He had been employed for many years by Wal-Mart in both their Halifax and Raynham locations.
Donald's hobbies were playing video games and cooking.
Generously giving of himself to family and friends was evidence of his gentle character.
He was predeceased by his father Donald Plausse and his mother Joan Hall and step-father Hubert Hall. He is survived by his two aunts Lorna Driscoll of Middleboro and Mary English of Lakeville as well as his cousins, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend his memorial service to be held Saturday December 1 at 11 AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Colebrook Cemetery, Whitman.
