WHITMAN

Dorothy L.Porter, 47, died Monday in the Brigham & Women's Hospital after a short illness.

Born in Brockton, daughter of Ruth (Spear) Porter of Whitman and the late Robert Porter.

A life long resident of Whitman a graduate of Whitman-Hanson Regional, High School, Class of 1977

Dorothy worked as an office manager for Dunkin Donuts before that Hills Dept. Store, Ames Dept Store and Liberty Bakery

In addition to her mother, she is survived by 2 sisters Mary Crager of Whitman, and Carol Porter of Rockland; also two nephews.

Her funeral service will be held Monday May 8th at 9:15 A.M. from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Inc Plymouth Street (RT58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman. Followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 A.M. in the Holy Ghost Church, School St., Whitman Visiting hours Sunday May 7th 3-7 P. M. .Burial will follow in the St. Patrick's Cemetery, Rockland Ma.
