Obituary

Eddie Olsen, 83, of Rockland, formerly of Plymouth died Monday in the South Shore Rehabilitation & Nursing Care Center in Rockland, after a period of failing health; He was the husband of the late Gladys C. (Gagnon) Olsen. He was born in New Jersey, raised and schooled in Arendal, Norway.
Eddie was a resident of Plymouth for more than 40 years until moving to Rockland 3 years ago.
He was a Master Carpenter exclusively for the Grossman Family for 20 years, before his retirement.
He is survived by his sister Alice Tveit, a niece Torrill Tveit, 2 nephews, Steiner and Alnt Olaf Tveit and their families, all of Areindal, Norway.

His funeral services will be held Thursday January 10th @ 10:00 AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street,(RT 58 @ the rotary circle ) Whitman, burial will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery, Rockland ,MA. Visiting hours will be held one hour prior to service 9:00 – 10:00 AM.
