Obituary

East Bridgewater- Edna M. Davenport 95, life long resident of East Bridgewater died Monday August 25th after a period of failing health.

Born and raised in East Bridgewater she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Condon) Davenport and a graduate of East Bridgewater High.

Edna worked as a nursing assistant in nursing homes before retiring in 1990.

She is survived by her sisters; Pat Wile of East Bridgewater, and Mary Paiva of New Hampshire, her nieces; Donna Sampson of East Bridgewater and Jeanne Lundin of Arizona and her nephew Donald Sampson of Hanson.

Her services will be held Thursday August 28th at 10 AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery, East Bridgewater.
Visiting hours will be held one hour prior to the service from 9 – 10 AM.
