Obituary

Edward T. Clark, Jr., 75, died saturday August 19th, after a period of failing health, he was the husband of Helen (Nicholson) Clark.

Born and brought up Whitman, son of the late Edward T. and Emy "Agnes" (Ferrari) Clark, Sr. A graduate of Whitman High School, class president, 1949.He also attended Mt Sanantonio Jr College and Northeastern University.

A resident of Whitman all his life, he joined the family's electrician's business in 1956, where he worked up until his illness.

Ed played football in high school and college; it was a passion of his.

He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

A member of the American Legion Post 22 in Whitman.

He is survived by his wife Helen (Nicholson) Clark,father of Donna Monte of Sandwich, Karen Clark of Marston Mills ;stepfather of Daniel E. Phippen, Allen C. Phippen, Clifford L. Phippen Michael Phippen all of Whitman and Mark A. Phippen of Maryland grandfather of Jennifer Bragdon and Justin Clark. He was also the brother of the late Ronald Clark.

Funeral services will be held at 9:15 am Friday August 25th from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman, followed by a 10:00am funeral mass in the Holy Ghost church School St., Whitman Burial will follow in the Mt Zion Cemetery Whitman, MA.
