Obituary

Edward J. Nelson, 63 of Taunton, died Tuesday April 2, 2021.

Born in Dorchester, he was the son of the late Harold and Betty (Tenny) Nelson.

Edward was avid fan of the Patriots and the Boston Bruins and enjoyed all sports, but most of all he loved being surrounded by family and friends.

He was an amazing Dad and grandfather to his daughter Melissa and four grandchildren, Colin, Ashley, Christopher and Kady Johnson. He was also a great husband to his former wife of fourteen years, Diane C. (Galanif) Nelson.

He is survived by his daughter Melissa M. Nelson, his sisters Cathy Rone Trombetta and Fran Przyjemski, his brother Donald Nelson, and his former wife Diane as well as his grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother John Nelson.
