Obituary

Eleanor M. (Bretta) Pappone, 70, of Abington, died unexpectedly, Tuesday February 26th.
Eleanor was born and brought up in Medford, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Chambers) Bretta.
She has been an Abington resident for many years and was the administrative assistant for the St. Bridget Church in Abington for more than 25 years.
She is survived by her loving children Brian Pappone and his wife Lisa of Attleboro, Kevin Pappone and his wife Karen of Brockton and Tricia Force and her husband John of Abington, her beloved twin brother Jim Bretta of Somerville and she was the cherished grandmother of Taylor, Andrew, Nicole and Jason.
Her funeral services will be held on Monday March 4th at 10:15 AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. (Rte 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman, MA, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 AM in the St. Bridget Church, 455 Plymouth St., Abington. Burial will follow in the St. Patrick's Cemetery, Rockland. Visitation will be held on Sunday March 3rd from 4:00-8:00 PM.
