Elizabeth Marie (Murray) Cicerone, our beautiful Beth, passed away peacefully at home on February 25, 2026, surrounded by her loving husband and children. She was 65 years old.
Born and raised in North Weymouth, she graduated from Weymouth North High School and was one of nine children born to Edward and Barbara Murray. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Paul Murray. She is survived by her loving siblings Helen, Ginny, Ann, Eddie, Julie, Pattie, and Tommy; and her loving sister-in-law Carolyn. Beth had many in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews and was loved by all. It was also in Weymouth where she met her best friend of over 50 years, Jayne.
For 45 beautiful years, she shared a marriage with Dave, the love of her life. Forty years ago, they moved from North Weymouth to Whitman, where they raised their three children and built a home filled with laughter and unwavering love. Beth and Dave were inseparable for over 45 years, doing everything together. Some of their cherished memories include the simple pleasures of life, like going for ice cream, taking a ride to the beach with their favorite music on the radio, and watching The Big Bang Theory at home.
The heart of her family, Beth was a loving mother to Crystal and her husband Rick, Ashley and her husband Mike, and her son David. She cherished being “Grandma” to Michael and Lawrence, whose laughter and hugs meant the world to her. Being their grandmother was one of the deepest joys of her life.
Beth will be remembered for her incredible sense of humor. Always cracking a sarcastic joke, quick with a witty comment, and ready to make someone laugh when they were feeling down, Beth brought light to everyday moments. Their home was often filled with the sound of Beth singing, dancing, and whistling as she moved from room to room. She found happiness in life’s little things: a long run, music, a quick dance break, a piece of chocolate, a fresh cup of piping hot coffee, fresh flowers, her collection of trinkets, and laughing with Dave. She truly loved the summer. Sunshine suited her best; the hotter, the better.
Beth’s life was defined by love for her husband, her children, her grandchildren, her siblings, and her friends. She leaves behind a legacy of laughter, kindness, devotion, and warmth that will live on in all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to attend Beth’s visiting hours on Monday, March 2nd from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. All are welcome at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, March 3rd at 9:45 AM before proceeding to a funeral Mass at the Holy Ghost Church at 10:30 AM in Whitman. A private burial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, we invite you to consider a donation to the Jimmy Fund Walk, supporting a cause close to Beth’s heart. In gratitude for the exceptional care her grandson received, your generosity will help ensure that other children and families receive the same compassionate, lifesaving treatment.
