Obituary

Elizabeth A. Masters 79, a longtime resident of Whitman, died Monday December 6 in the Carney Hospital, Boston.

Born in Cambridge and raised in Arlington, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Mildred (Lewis) Masters and a graduate of Arlington High School.

Prior to her retirement, she had worked many years in the bookkeeping department of the Harvard Trust Bank.

Elizabeth leaves behind her brothers Theodore "Teddy" Masters, David Masters and Richard Hamilton as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her dear friend Caroleann Ratchford and her siblings Cindy Westgate, Lloyde Hamilton and James Masters.

Family and friends are invited to attend her visiting hours on Monday December 13 from 10:00-10:45 AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte.58 @ the rotary) Whitman, followed by an 11:00 AM graveside service and burial in the Colebrook Cemetery, Essex Street, Whitman.
