Obituary

Whitman - Eugene E. Folger 75 died Tuesday October 7 in his Whitman home and surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of 52 years to Margaret E. (Howell) Folger.

Born in Boston he was the son of the late Eugene E. and Josephine (Salvato) Folger.

Prior to his retirement Gene had worked as a draftsman in the manufacturing industry.

He was an avid reader of science fiction books, enjoyed astronomy, and had a true talent for repairing clocks and cameras.

In addition to his loving wife Margaret he is survived by his children Claire A. Folger of Arlington, MA, Alice C. Civitella and her husband Ray of Westmont, NJ, Eugene P. Folger and his wife Renee of Sellersburg, IN, Timothy R. Folger of Fullerton, CA and Jillian S. Folger-Hartwell and her husband Scott of Cumberland, RI, and his brother Peter Folger and his wife Regina of Dorchester. He is also survived by his grandchildren Jessica, Cherice, Donovan, Meghan, Allison and Charlotte and his two great grandchildren Preston and Autumn.
