Obituary

Florence E. "Flossie" (Morse) Wright, 85, of Haverhill, formerly of Whitman, passed away surrounded by her loved ones after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Warren H. Wright.

She was born and brought up in East Bridgewater, daughter of the late George and Signe (Bergquist) Morse. Flossie graduated from East Bridgewater High School.

Flossie was a Whitman resident for 50 years, she started working right after High School, at the Carver Cotton Gin in East Bridgewater, retiring as head secretary in 1989 when the plant closed.

In her younger years, she enjoyed skiing, loved to read, paint and travel.

She is survived by her brother, George Morse, Jr. of NH, her nieces, Joyce Quagenti of NH, Patricia Levangie of Arizona, Norma Morin of FL., Diane McCormick of Salisbury, MA., Lana Simonds and Tracy Therrien both of NH, and her nephew Fred Morse of NH. She was also the sister of the late Grace Thomas.

Her funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 13th at 12:00PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman. Visitation will be held prior to her service from 10:00AM-12:00PM. Burial will follow in the Northville Cemetery, Oak Street, East Bridgewater.
