Obituary

Frances E. "Frannie" (Campbell) Shay, 83, of East Bridgewater passed away on Saturday August 21st in the Signature Health Care Brockton Hospital after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Albert W. Shay.

Frannie was born in Revere, a daughter of the late Thomas and Hazel (Robar) Campbell. She was brought in Everett and attended Everett Schools.

She has been an East Bridgewater resident for several years and was a cafeteria worker for the East Bridgewater Schools.

Frances was a member of the Whitman Women's Auxiliary Post 697, an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed trips to Foxwoods.

She is survived by her siblings, Florence Chaput of Saugus, Dorothy LoRusso of Revere, Chester Campbell and his wife Gerry of North Andover, Carol Campbell of Saugus and the late Thomas Campbell, Jr. also many nieces and nephews.

Her services will be held on Wednesday August 25th at 12:00 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Fern Hill Cemetery, High Street, Hanson. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service from 11:00-12:00.
