Frederick T. Delaney,66.died Monday in the St. Joseph's Manor Nursing Home in Brockton after a long illness

Born in Boston, son of the late John J. and Lucy (Moquin) Delaney, a Graduate of Dorchester High School

He grew up in Dorchester and was a resident of East Bridgewater for 28 years

Frederick was a disabled veteran in the United States Army during the Vietnam ERA

He enjoyed the New York Yankees.

He is survived by a daughter ,Patricia Ann Delaney, 3 sisters and 1 brother, Carol Brew of East Bridgewater, Dorothy Thompson of Rockland , Shirley Knight of Hanover,and Harold Delaney of Dorchester; also several nieces and nephews, He was also the brother of late James, William , Eleanor, Mary Lou Delaney and Lucille Needle

His funeral will be held Thursday May 11, at 9:15 A.M. from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitma, .followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 A.M. in the Holy Ghost Church School St, Whitman. Visiting hours Wednesday May 10th, 4:00-7:00 P.M .Burial will follow at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree, MA.
