Malmberg of Raynham formerly of Whitman and Brockton May 13th Geraldine E. (Tucker),(Chisholm) 90,wife of the late John D. Chisholm and the late Roland A. Malmberg; mother of Joan (Joann) M.(Chisholm) Burns and her husband William of Whitman ;sister of Glenna l. Paananen of Brockton; grandmother of John W. Burns and his wife Deborah of Raynham, Kathleen A Cerra and her husband John of Hawaii great grandmother of Ian Anderson, Michelle Noble, Deanna M.,Rose L.and John W Jr. Burns ;great great grandmother of Brent Pope, Sean Hanney,Jr.and Mariah Noble. Also many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Bernice Stetson, Ardis Peterson and grandmother of the late Patricia M Volk.




WHITMAN

Geraldine C.(Tucker) (Chisholm) Malmberg died Saturday May 13th in the Braemoor Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, after a period of failing health .She was the wife of the late John D.Chisholm and the late Roland C. Malmberg.

Born and raised in Whitman, Brockton, daughter of the late Harris and Mary (Arseneault) Tucker a graduate of Brockton High, class of 1933.She also attended Goddard Hospital Nursing School and the Forsythe Dental School.

Geraldine owned and operated Durand Chocolate in Taunton from 1954-1970, after that she was employed by Brigham's Ice Cream in Randolph. She retired in 1980

She was a member of the DAR Deborah Sampson Chapter where she served as treasurer for several years, Altruistic Society of Taunton and the P.M. Club of Brockton.

Geraldine enjoyed painting reading, gardening, traveling, genealogy and yoga.



Her memorial service will be held Thursday May 18th at 8: 00 P.M. in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman. Visiting hours Thursday May 18th 4-8. Burial will follow in the Colebrook Cemetery at a later date. Donations may be made in her name to a Charity of One's Choice.
