Obituary

Grace A. (Spagna) Schmitt, 88, a resident of Whitman for the past 64 years died on May 19th at home under the care of her family. She was the wife of Robert (Bob) H. Schmitt for 67 years.

Born in Avon, MA one of ten children of the late Rocco and Anne (Gregory) Spagna. Grace was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

In addition to her husband Bob, she is survived by her daughters Catherine E. Schmitt and Theresa A. Pagnini; predeceased by her third daughter Jeanne Harrington. She also leaves behind four siblings, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectively invited to attend a Funeral Mass at the Holy Ghost Church, 518 Washington St. Whitman on Wednesday, May 24th at 11:00AM.

All other services are omitted per request of the deceased.
