Obituary

Whitman – Harold A. Cornax of Whitman passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday October 16, 2011 at the age of 82.

He was the husband of Mary V. (Martin) Cornax, celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary in June.

Born in Bronx, New York he joined the US Air Force, serving his country for twenty years before retiring. He had also worked for the Whitman Post Office for more than thirteen years.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, the beach and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife Mary he is survived by his daughters Barbara Scotton and her husband Michael of Halifax, and Joyce Ankener of Halifax. He is also survived by his three grandchildren.

A private service was held in the MA VA National Cemetery, Bourne.
