Obituary

Hazel M. (Brown), 87, died July 7th in the Brockton Hospital in Brockton, after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Donald C. Dunbar, Sr. ,they were married for more than 66 years

Hazel was born in Canada, daughter of the late John and Roberta (Woodland) Brown. She was a graduate of Whitman High.

She was a Whitman resident for most of her life.

She was a secretary for the Foxboro Company in East Bridgewater for many years.


She is survived by her children, Donald C. Dunbar, Jr. of VA, Phillip C. Dunbar of Fl, Judith Cameron of NC.and Joy Dunbar of VA.; her brother John Brown of Middleboro; also 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews

Her funeral service will be held on July14th at 2:00 P.M. in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street, (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Fern Hill Cemetery, Hanson, MA. Visiting hours will be on July 13th 2-4 & 7-9 P.M.
