OBITUARY


Halifax

Henry B. Brown, Jr., 91, died in his home on Monday September 18th after a short illness. He was the husband of the late Isabel M. (Veno) Brown

Born and brought up in Braintree he was the son of the late Henry B. and Mildred (Pentz) Brown.

Henry worked at the Fore River shipyard in Quincy before working as a mechanic and retiring as a supervisor at Armstrong Cork in Braintree for 30 years.

He lived around the South Shore, before residing in Halifax for the last 3 years. He loved woodworking and doing any general repairs that needed to be done around the house.

He is survived by his daughters Lois Callahan and her husband Brian of Halifax and Doris Eskins and her husband Robert III of Ohio, a brother Arvard Brown of Quincy, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was the brother of the late Charles, Douglas, Parker and Francis Brown.

His funeral will be held on Friday, September 22nd at 10:00 AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Route 58 @ the Rotary) Whitman. Burial will follow at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
