Obituary

Jacqueline L. (Stinchfield) Johnson 82 died Sunday December 7th in her Hanover home after a period of failing health. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene G. Johnson, Sr.

Born in Bourne she was the daughter of the late Edwin R. and Ester M. (Hill) Stinchfield.

Jacqueline had been a resident of Hanover since 1966 and enjoyed painting, puzzles, playing cards and her flower gardens.

She is survived by her children, Mary J. Silva of Brockton, Eugene G. Johnson, Jr. of Orlando, FL, Margaret E. LeFort-Slaney of Hudson, FL, Jessie A. Stalker of Hanson, Kandi M. Wilkins, of GA, Gerard R. Johnson of Hanover, Cathy P. Schleiff of Rockland, Hiram E. Johnson of Kingston, Susan E. Johnson of Hanover, Michael A. Johnson of Maryland and James A. Johnson of Weymouth, 50+ grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Vedra Stinchfield.

Her services will be held Wednesday December 10th at 6 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman. Burial will be held at a later date. Visiting hours will be held two hours prior to the service from 4-6 PM.
