Obituary

James T. Gately 55, died unexpectedly at his home on January 10th.

Born June 9, 1952 in Boston, he was the son of the late Gerard J. and Anna T. (Kelly) Gately.

James lived in Whitman and worked as a metal finisher for Whitman Plating.

He is survived by his brothers Edward Gately of Pembroke, and Dermont Gately of Quincy, and his sister Maryellen Purpura of Brockton. He was the brother of the late Gerard Gately.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday January 19th at 10:00 AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rte 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. Calling hours omitted by request of the family.
