Obituary

James"Jim" Lucey 78, died Friday may 26th at the Life care center in Raynham after a period of failing health. He was the husband of the late Mary L. (Dexter) Lucey.

Born and brought up in Ireland, son of the late, Michael and Nora (Walsh) Lucey. He attended Ireland schools

Jim lived in Canada for five years, before moving to Brockton; there he made his living as a self-employed carpenter.

He loved Irish music.

He is survived by Michael Lucey and his wife Carol of Berkley, Jamie Lucey, Kellie Ann Rix both of Brockton and Katie Starczewski of Dudley; brother of 17 all of Ireland and England; also 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews

His Funeral will be held Wednesday May 31st at 9:15 A.M. from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman, followed by a 10:00 A.M mass in the St .Johns Church East Bridgewater, MA. Visiting hours Tuesday May 30th 5-8. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Brockton, MA.




Funeral Mass in St. John's Catholic Church, 210 Central Street, East Bridgewater on Wednesday May 31st at 10am.
Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Brockton.
