Janice M. Leach (Huntington), 79, of Carver, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on June 14, 2026.
Born in Quincy, Massachusetts, Janice was the daughter of the late Charles and Caroline (Halligan) Huntington of Whitman. She grew up in Whitman and attended Whitman-Hanson High School.
Janice dedicated many years of her career as a bookkeeper for Broadway Electric in Dorchester, where she was known for her hard work, reliability, and attention to detail. Following her retirement, she and her beloved husband, Bud, fulfilled a lifelong dream by moving to Florida. There, Janice found joy in working at Walt Disney World, a place she cherished for its magic and wonder. Sharing that experience with Bud made it all the more special, as he loved the Disney magic just as much as she did.
She also worked as a monitor on the special needs buses and LOVED working with her kids.
Janice will be remembered for her warm heart, kind spirit, and devotion to her family and friends. She treasured time spent with loved ones and brought happiness wherever she went. Her gentle presence, infectious smile, and love of life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Charles (Buddy) Leach Jr. Daughter Tracy and her husband Glen Campbell of Carver. Son Todd and his wife Nicole of Weymouth. Grandchildren, Devan Leach, Zachary Leach, Caden Leach, and Erin Campbell of Weymouth. Grandson Dennis Campbell of Quincy. Granddaughter Brenna and husband Adam Foster of Canton and her Great Grand Son Benjamine Richard of Canton.
Family and friends are invited to attend Janice's visiton hours on Monday, June 22nd from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. All are welcome back afterwards to De'Anns in Abington.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice in Janice's memory.
