Obituary

Jarrod M. Collins 46, of Whitman, Massachusetts, passed away on May 11, 2025. Born in Quincy, Jarrod spent his childhood years in Norwood.

He is survived by his loving mother, Diane Brooks, and her late husband, Bob Desmond; his stepmother, Mary Collins; and was predeceased by his father, Frank Collins. He is also survived by his sister, Jessica McDonagh of Norwood, and her husband Francis; his brother, Jason Collins, and his wife Meghan of Stuarts Draft, Virginia.

Above all, Jarrod is survived by his two beloved children, his son Aidan, his daughter Bridgette and their mother, Lisa LaMonaca. Aidan and Bridgette were his entire world. His love for them was endless and being thier dad was his greatest joy and accomplishment in life.

Jarrod was the proud founder of Mass Bay Tree in Whitman a company he built with hard work, dedication and passion to leave a legacy his children could be proud of. He had a fierce love of travel and adventure, and was happiest traveling the world or watching a sunset with Aidan and Bridgette by his side.

He leaves behind a large and loving extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, lifelong friends, and employees who became family. Jarrod's life was full of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. His spirit, kindness, and unwavering devotion to his children will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Visitation will be on Tuesday May 20th from 4-7pm followed by a service at 7pm in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel.
