Obituary

Jean E. (Hussey) Judge, 56, passed away Thursday October 30th at her home, after a 5 year battle with breast cancer. Jean was a lifetime resident of Abington. She worked as a dental hygienist for many years in the Dental Department of BCBSMA. Born October 6, 1952 in Weymouth, she was the daughter of Ruth (Pape) Hussey of Abington and the late Joseph Hussey. Jean was a graduated of Abington High and Boston University of Dentistry.
Jean was most proud of her family, a devoted daughter, loving mother and a doting grandmother. Jean was blessed with many friends and wonderful co-workers.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her 2 daughters; Tara J. Judge and her husband Lawrence Bergman , Lindsay R. Judge all Abington, her sister Gail Delaney of East Bridgewater, her 2 brothers, John Hussey of Abington and Richard Hussey of Georgia; her grandchildren Nathaniel McGowan and Laney Jean Bergman ;several nieces and nephews.

Her services will be held on Monday November 3rd at 11:00AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman, interment will follow in the Woodside Cemetery in Cohasset, MA. Family and friends are welcome to attend her visiting hours on Sunday November 2nd from 3:00-7:00PM.In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the New Cancer Center at the South Shore Hospital, 55 Fogg RD, Weymouth, MA 02190.
