Obituary

Jeannette E. Pierce (81), born June 25, 1929, passed away on March 31, 2011 after a brief illness. Jeannette was a lifetime resident of Whitman, Massachusetts, and with the assistance of her husband Harold E. Pierce, "raised a family of ten children". She was extremely proud of her family roots, and in fact, was an avid genealogy enthusiast. She was also a collector of everything near and dear to her heart, and her home was filled with a lifetime of memories. Jeannette was also a former member of the Whitman Historical Society.

Daughter of the late Isabella F. (Churchill) and Joseph J. Plasse, she is survived by her brother Paul Plasse, and her sisters Delphine Scriven, and Dorothy Aitken.

She was preceded in death by her sister Lorraine DeGeronimo, and her brothers Lloyd Plasse Sr., and Joseph J. Plasse Jr.

She is survived by her husband Harold E. Pierce Sr, her daughters Jeannette Pierce, Katherine Mullen, Ann Pierce, and her sons Harold E. Pierce Jr., Joseph Pierce, James Pierce, Michael Pierce, Sean Pierce and Timothy Pierce. She is also survived by 24 Grandchildren and 42 Great Grandchildren.
