IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joachim
Ogundipe
December 27, 2025
Joachim Babatunde Ogundipe, 35, passed away unexpectedly on December 27, 2025 in Nashville Tennessee.
Born in Boston, MA, on July 15, 1990. He is the Loving son of Kathleen Cribben and the late Samuel Olanrewaju Ogundipe. Joachim graduated in 2009 from WHRHS and went on to attended Massasoit Community College. At the time of his passing, Joachim was an Account Manager at Tri Star Energy, in Nashville Tennessee.
Prior to moving to Nashville, Joachim had also worked alongside his mother and sister in the human services field, as a Recovery Specialist for Highpoint Treatment Center, MATC Brockton, where he will be remembered for his deep empathy and unwavering commitment to those struggling with addiction.
Survived by his sisters and brothers, Alyssa Cribben of Rehoboth MA, Michelle Papile of Taunton MA, Samuel Ogundipe, Winifred Ogundipe, Valerie Ogundipe and Xavius Robinson of Atlanta GA. and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
In his adulthood Joachim surrounded himself with his tight knit group of life-long friends that he considered to be family. He would frequently make the long drive from Tennessee back to his home state for family gatherings, birthday parties, and often just to surprise his loved ones with a visit. During this time, he would make it a point to sit with friends and tell them how proud he was of their accomplishments and newly reached milestones. Joachim took great pride in his role in the lives of his nieces and nephews, including his first-born Nephew, Ryan and his God Daughter, Olivia Sheridan and his newest nephew, Lucian Cribben. He consistently emphasized how truly remarkable the children were in his eyes.
He was known to his friends as loyal, supportive and loving as well as opinionated, sarcastic and incredibly funny. Throughout his life he would constantly lend his ear and his time to friends in need. His insight carried a valuable level of honesty accompanied by an unwavering support that almost perfectly encapsulates the kind of friend and brother he aspired to be. Joachim’s untimely passing creates an immeasurable loss felt deeply by those closest to him and is outweighed only by the legacy of love, trust, laughter, and brotherhood he leaves behind.
Family and friends are invited to Joachim’s visiting hours on Friday, January 16th from 5:00-7:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. A burial will take place in the spring.
