Obituary

Joan Marie Brady, of Whitman, passed away at the Brockton Hospital, on October 16, 2021 after a brief illness.

Joan was born in Brockton on June 21, 1938, the daughter of the late Phillip and Mary (Sullivan) Brady.

She was a graduate of Brockton High school Class of 1956. After graduation, she worked for Brockton Edison Company of Brockton, where she remained and retired in 2000.

Joan loved to take long walks and read in her retired life and spending time with her friends and family.

She will be greatly missed by her two sisters Hellen Picoraro of Hinsdale, NH, and Anne Savignano of South Easton, Ma.. She was predeceased by her siblings, Mary McQueeny, Rose Brady, Alice Brady, Trudy Guiney, Phyllis D'Auteuil, William Brady and George Brady.

She will be sorely missed by her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, and many close friends.

At her request, services will be private.
