Obituary

John L. Allen, 81, of Brockton, passed away on April 20th at home.

He was formerly from Springfield, VT, the eldest child of Lyndon and Irene (Roys) Allen, a graduate of Springfield High and Northeastern University. A Randolph, MA teacher of 30 years, and Korean War veteran, he enjoyed history, movies, theatre, family, friends, and a really good meal.

He is survived by his sister Maryann (Allen) O'Malley; his children, Jennifer Drosos, Geoffrey Allen and Jason Allen-Forrest; his grandchildren, Ashley Walter, Charles Dorsey, Jr. and Nicholas Dorsey; and his great-grandchildren, Brendon Hemingway, Aundrea Dorsey and Aiden Dorsey.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, May 1st, at 2pm in the All Saints Episcopal Church, 44 Park Avenue, Whitman, MA.
