Obituary

John A. Conte, 88 of Falmouth, formerly of Brockton, passed away on March 31 after a period of failing health. He was the son of the late Ignazio and Rachel (Pelosi) Conte.

John was born in Brockton and attended Brockton Schools and was employed by the USVA Medical Center before retiring to Fort Lauderdale, FL. In 1986 John came out of retirement and went to work at Browards County Court House Public Defender's Office and retiring from there in 1999.

He spent time between his homes in Florida and Falmouth.

He is survived by several nieces and nephew. John was the brother of the late Mary, Carlo, Nicholas, Michael, Patrick and Lucy Conte.

Private graveside services will be held in the St James Cemetery, Whitman.
