Obituary

John D. Gatturna, 56, of Whitman passed away on March 25th at the Good Samaritan Medical Center surrounded by his family and friends. He was the son of the late John and Elizabeth (Drew) Gatturna.

John had worked at Independent Pipe & Supply Co. in Canton for many years and was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed coaching in youth leagues and following his favorite teams, the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.

John is survived by his sisters Noreen DeChambeau, Joan Mesolella, Carol Kanally, Ann Marie Sturge, and the late Diane Luerini. John also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, brothers-in-law and friends. He was also the father of the late Michael and Matthew Gatturna.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday March 30th in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 at the rotary) Whitman from 4:00-8:00PM. All other services will be private.
